Necco Gumdrop Flowers

Remember Necco Wafers? These retro, flat, round candies make perfect petals on gumdrop flowers, a project in our gummy candy chapter! Use these sugary blooms to decorate the edge of a glass or the top of a cupcake.

supplies
4 Necco Wafers
1 gumdrop
butter or paring knife (optional)

1. Push the edge of a wafer into the gumdrop, about halfway up the side of the gumdrop. Repeat with the remaining wafers. 
2. To hang off the edge of a glass, using the knife, cut a slit that’s about 3/4" wide just under one of the wafers and slide the slit onto the glass rim.
