Make an Animal Friend for Your Backpack!

How is school going so far? Does your kid need a little friend for their backpack? These animal backpack charms that I made for The Week Junior are super easy and fun to make!

Other than some basic craft tools (scissors, hot glue gun or white glue, and paint or a marker or paint pen), you just need the following:
- felt (scraps are fine!)]
- wooden beads
- paracord
- a carabiner
- tiny buttons (optional)

FYI, here’s an illustration to show how to make the simple hitch knot that I used to attach the cord to the carabiner.
