Fun and Easy Kid's Summer Project: Scrape Art Bookmarks!

As part of The Week Junior magazine’s Summer of Reading challenge, I created a fun bookmark project. You can use any artwork (and simply cut it into strips), but I made these using a scrape painting technique. It’s super easy and addictive!

I used an inexpensive plastic paint scraper (a.k.a. a putty knife) and taped watercolor paper to my covered work surface.

You can download these instructions on The Week Junior’s website here!

Happy summer crafting!
