In this month's Family Fun magazine, I worked on the story "How to Host an Easter Egg Decorating Party" with ideas for kid-friendly crafts, decorating and treats! I'm sharing some behind-the-scene snapshots of the ideas, some in-progress. Pick up the March issue of Family Fun or click this link for more images and printable templates for some of the crafts!

GFor a table decoration, I used plastic eggs, skewers, and crepe paper to make these flowers and filled them with these tiny candies and put in little pots down the center of the table. Click here for instructions.

Egg-Balloons-Super-Make-It

Egg balloons with crepe paper stripes and office supply sticker dots in-progress for an egg garland! Instructions here.

More treats! Click here for the how-to for these Banana Bunny Pops. Their ears are made with food-safe cupcake liners. Mini pepper and skinny string bean veggie flowers are so easy to make! When I was first making them I only used the pepper slices and wondered what to do with the leftover bottoms. I realized that they look like tulips so I used them too! Instructions are here. Serve them with your favorite dip.
