Fun-to-Make Easter Egg Animals!
/I made these little cuties many years ago for Martha Stewart Kids! Felt, buttons, pipe cleaners, crepe paper, tiny pom-poms, markers, and other crafty materials make perfect animal body parts! I used blown out eggs so that I could keep these forever but you can make them on plastic eggs too!
No need to follow these. Set out bowls with small, lightweight craft materials and some white glue, markers and scissors, and see what your kids come up with!
An egg bunny is snacking on egg carrots! (The bunny is made with felt, string, and a mini pom-pom and the carrots have a crepe paper leafy top…but you could use tissue paper)
This crew is posing for an updated family portrait in honor of their newest family member! :) They’ve got cut felt parts and eyes dotted on with markers.
The cows’ spots are painted on, their legs are pipe cleaners and they have tissue paper horns and ears.
Baby birds, made with crepe paper!
These little bunnies are sitting in mini cupcake papers. They’ve got crepe ears and tiny pompom noses.
I hope you’ll give this fun and easy craft a try. And please tag me @supermakeit so I can see your egg creature creations!!
