Save Your Toilet Paper Tubes for Easter Crafts the Kids Will Love!

Toilet paper tubes, 3D blank canvases that can be brought to life right from your recycle bin, are my favorite craft material! These springy egg holders and the crafts below are from Toilet Tube Treasury, my new 62-page e-book which includes 24 crafts and 19 pages of printable templates!
You can group the egg holders into a centerpiece or put one at each place setting!
GRASS EGG HOLDER
1. Optional: For brighter color, prime tubes inside and out with gesso; let dry.
2. Paint toilet paper tubes green with craft paint (inside and out) and let dry.
3. Cut tubes to about 2 ” and snip angled vertical cuts to make a grass fringe around one end.
BUNNY EGG HOLDER
1. Trim out the bunny template (included in Toilet Tube Treasury) and then tape it to the tube, or draw your own bunny shape. Cut out the bunny shape.
2. Optional: for brighter color prime tubes inside and out with gesso; let dry.
3. Paint the bunny a color inside and out and let dry. Paint on features.

Here is a peek at the cover of Toilet Tube Treasury! (Toilet tube letters are one of the projects in the book!) Using the templates included in the back of the book makes these crafts super doable, which is why I am SO excited about this digital e-book format. It’s easy to print out as many templates as you need!

Make a few of these easy people egg holders from the book...and then decorate your eggs with faces. You can even dip the tips of the eggs in dye to make hair or a beard!

These floral favor boxes, also in the book, are great for guests to take home candy or little trinkets, for Easter or a baby shower or wedding!

You can buy Toilet Tube Treasury here in my shop or on Issuu where you can view it as a flipbook or download a PDF.
Happy crafting…and Happy Easter! xo
