Make Your Own Recycled Tube "Red", From Netflix's The Sea Beast!

I was thrilled that Netflix asked me to create a craft inspired by their sweet animated action-adventure, The Sea Beast . I knew I wanted to make Red, the sea beast at the center of the film. If you follow along here, you know that recycled materials are my favorite, so I raided my stash of paper towel and toilet paper tubes for her body. (Scroll down for the full instructions.)

Have you seen the movie yet? The story is sweet and the animation is lush and gorgeous! I paused the movie a few times to take it all in!

What you’ll need:
- 1 paper towel tube
- 1 toilet paper tube
- scissors
- cardboard scrap )like from a cereal box)
- red paint and paintbrush
- small scrap of yellow and black paper
- white glue and hot glue
- black marker
- hole punch
- yarn
- white pipe cleaner
