Gummy Candy Chapter

Gummy Candy Chapter

As I mentioned in an earlier post about ourmarshmallow chapter opener, we were so lucky to have Robin Rosenthal design our book. Here is a peek at the gummy candy chapter opener that she designed! For over 19 years, I was a craft editor at Martha Stewart Living and the editorial director of Martha Stewart Kids. I met Amy while working for Martha Stewart where she was a food editor. You can read more about her over here or check out her beautiful blog, Eclectic Mom.....

After I started playing I realized that the possibilities were endless. I would have been happy to do a whole book of marshmallow crafts!

Marshmallow Chapter!

We were lucky enough to have the smart and talented Robin Rosenthal design our book. She knew that Amy and I wanted typography created out of the actual materials and crafted projects from the book and she conceived inspired chapter openers that did just that. Above is the shot she art directed for the marshmallow chapter opener.

Dot Flower Pops

These simple dot flower pops are from the hard candy chapter in our upcoming book, Candy Aisle Crafts. They are a great starter project for getting used to melting hard candy and would make cute party favors!

Jolly Ranchers are my favorite candies to use for the candy-melting projects I’ve done over the years and have always found that it melts very smoothly.
